Quality Coordinator – Aged Care (Part‑time)

About the role

RSL LifeCare is seeking a passionate Quality Coordinator to lead clinical governance and continuous improvement across its residential care facilities. Working part‑time (two days per week) you will help ensure safe, high‑quality care for veterans and seniors.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee quality audits and ensure compliance with organisational policies and the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives to enhance resident outcomes.
• Support and deliver staff training, monitoring mandatory training and orientation programs.
• Provide guidance within a multidisciplinary team to uphold best‑practice care standards.
• Analyse performance data, identify trends and implement improvement strategies.
• Prepare accurate reports on quality outcomes and regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
• Minimum five years RN experience, preferably in quality management or aged‑care settings.
• Strong understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards, NSQHS and regulatory requirements.
• Proven strategic and clinical planning abilities, with experience in change management.
• Excellent communication, relationship‑building and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards and NSQHS.
• Familiarity with clinical risk management and regulatory compliance processes.
