Quality Control Technician

About the role

We are seeking a Quality Control Technician to join a well‑established Australian manufacturing facility in South West Sydney. Working closely with production and operations, you will ensure that all products meet strict quality specifications through systematic testing, inspection, and accurate reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and test products at various stages of the manufacturing process.
• Verify product quality against defined specifications and standards.
• Record inspection and test results accurately in quality documentation.
• Identify, document, and report any quality issues to production teams and management.
• Operate measuring equipment such as micrometers, gauges, rulers and tape measures.
• Maintain up‑to‑date inspection records and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Promote safe working practices and collaborate with production staff to uphold quality standards.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a manufacturing, production or quality control environment.
• Keen eye for detail with strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Proactive attitude, capable of working independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.

Required skills

• Use of micrometers.
• Use of gauges.
