Quality Assurance Analyst - Generative AI

About the role

CommBank is looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst in its AI Quality Assurance team, within RBS Controls & Customer Outcomes, based in Sydney. You will help ensure the safe and responsible use of Generative AI across the group by reviewing user interactions with CommBank Companion and supporting consistent, high-quality customer outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform QA reviews of user interactions against the quality assurance framework and checklist
• Assess whether responses are relevant, accurate, appropriate and aligned with Group policies, risk frameworks and regulatory expectations
• Identify, document and escalate issues, risks or exceptions in line with team processes
• Meet weekly and monthly QA throughput and quality targets
• Communicate findings clearly to leaders and contribute to stakeholder discussions where required
• Provide insights and feedback to help uplift controls, guidance and processes
• Build capability in Generative AI, risk, compliance and customer outcomes, and take advantage of continuous learning opportunities

Required profile

• Experience in Quality Assurance, Risk or Compliance within retail banking
• Strong risk mindset, able to proactively identify and act on risks
• High attention to detail and strong analytical thinking
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Effective time management and a curiosity-driven, continuous improvement mindset
