Qualified Ambulance Paramedic

About the role

St John WA, a not-for-profit emergency and urgent care organisation serving Western Australia since 1892, is recruiting qualified and experienced Ambulance Paramedics for its frontline ambulance operational teams across the Perth Metropolitan Area. Paramedics respond to a wide range of patients and clinical presentations, working in a fast-paced environment alongside colleagues and healthcare and emergency service partners.

Required profile

• Current Australian working rights (evidence required during recruitment)
• At least two years of service as an operational paramedic in a recognised ambulance service, including driving under emergency conditions
• A paramedic position in a clinical setting in the past two years
• Degree in Paramedicine from an AHPRA-approved program or recognised international provider
• Professional registration with the Paramedicine Board of Australia (AHPRA), or willingness to obtain it
• Unrestricted driver's licence with no more than six demerit points, and willingness to obtain a Light Rigid licence within three months
