QC Coordinator

About the role

Emesent is seeking a QC Coordinator to join its Quality & Test team. The role is hands‑on, covering incoming parts inspection, outgoing product quality checks, packing verification, and quality records management within an ISO 9001‑certified environment. You will work closely with production, engineering, supply chain, and logistics to ensure product flow meets strict quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Verify customer orders against invoices, packing lists, and Hubspot/Jira records before logistics hand‑off.
• Perform final inspections on new‑build Hovermap payloads, RMA payloads, and accessory assemblies, including workmanship, cosmetic condition, functional testing, and completeness.
• Conduct in‑process quality checks at defined assembly stages, ensuring component placement and adherence to work instructions.
• Inspect incoming materials against specifications, drawings, and the Engineering Release File Register; execute First Article Inspections for new or changed suppliers.
• Manage Non‑Conformance Reports and coordinate sign‑off for out‑of‑spec parts with Engineering, Production, and QA.
• Monitor the ECN Jira board, act on QC/QA items, and maintain the ECN log.
• Support New Product Introduction trials, develop FAI checklists, and contribute to QA sign‑off for production handover.
• Maintain measuring equipment registers, calibration schedules, and document rework activities.
• Assist with ISO 9001 QMS maintenance, audit preparation, corrective actions, and procedure development.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in quality control, inspection, or QC coordination within manufacturing, electronics, or technology production.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with production, engineering, and supply‑chain teams.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documented procedures.

Required skills

• ISO 9001 quality management system knowledge.
• Proficiency with Jira for tracking ECNs and NCRs.
• Experience using Hubspot for order verification.
• Familiarity with Engineering Change Notifications (ECN) processes.
