QA Engineer - Automation

About the role

As an Automation QA Engineer at Cuscal, you will join a cross‑functional Agile squad to ensure the quality of our payment solutions. You will design, develop and maintain automated test frameworks that help deliver secure, scalable and high‑performing software.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and execute automated test scripts and frameworks using Playwright.
• Analyse requirements and user stories to define test approaches and estimate effort.
• Configure test environments, test data and supporting assets.
• Identify, triage and investigate defects, collaborating closely with engineers.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery.
• Create and maintain testing documentation, reporting and quality metrics.
• Support production verification activities and incident investigations when needed.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, tooling and practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a QA Engineer, Test Automation Engineer or similar role.
• Strong understanding of software development and hands‑on coding in Typescript.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
• Ability to engage stakeholders and communicate findings clearly.
• Continuous‑improvement mindset with interest in AI technologies.
