Purchasing Officer – Procurement Role in Wetherill Park

About the role

CSR is seeking a Purchasing Officer to join its Wetherill Park team. This national position supports day‑to‑day purchasing activities, ensuring compliance with procurement policies, systems, and preferred supplier agreements while contributing to a more mature procurement model.

Key responsibilities

• Raise, validate and manage purchase orders in line with company policies and approval levels.
• Monitor and resolve invoice and system discrepancies, including GRIR, blocked and parked invoices.
• Liaise with vendors and Accounts Payable to settle purchasing, claim and invoice issues.
• Ensure utilisation of preferred supplier agreements and support procurement optimisation initiatives.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to provide purchasing support and drive process compliance.
• Build and maintain effective supplier and stakeholder relationships.
• Support procurement governance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide basic guidance and training to staff on purchasing systems and processes.

Required profile

• Experience in purchasing, procurement or a similar operational role.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Comfortable working within policies, processes and compliance frameworks.
• Effective communication skills and ability to engage a broad range of stakeholders.
• Proactive, organised and able to manage competing priorities.
• Team player eager to learn and develop within a growing procurement function.
