Purchasing Officer

About the role

ActronAir is seeking a proactive Purchasing Officer to manage its indirect, packaging and consumables portfolio. Based in Marsden Park, you will ensure manufacturing operations are continuously supplied while driving process improvements and automation.

Key responsibilities

• Raise and manage purchase orders in Microsoft Dynamics 365, track stock balances and resolve receipt/invoice discrepancies.
• Analyse ordering patterns to convert manual orders into automated replenishment, using blanket orders and planned‑order settings.
• Maintain and clean vendor master data, eliminate duplicates and document procedures in line with ISO 9001:2015.
• Build collaborative relationships with suppliers, manage RFQs, coordinate returns/credits and contribute to supplier evaluations.
• Participate early in New Product Development to identify single‑source and lead‑time risks.

Required profile

• Experience in purchasing, supply chain, inventory or procurement administration within a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Strong analytical mindset with a proven record of identifying inefficiencies and implementing lasting process changes.
• Clear, direct communication skills for interacting with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
