Public Sector Litigation Lawyer (2-4 PQE)

About the role
Join a leading Public Sector practice in Sydney, working alongside Dr Ashley Tsacalos. This position offers the chance to develop specialist litigation skills across a range of high‑profile government matters.
Key responsibilities
- Handle dispute resolution and litigation matters, including tort claims and administrative law actions such as judicial and merits review.
- Participate in royal commissions, inquiries and inquests, supporting the team’s extensive experience in this area.
- Represent a variety of clients, from Commonwealth and State government departments to private sector bodies.
- Undertake client secondments and contribute to business development initiatives.
Required profile
- 2‑4 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) with a strong academic record.
- Demonstrated interest in government, public policy and the political environment.
- Excellent time‑management, resilience and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
- Team‑player attitude with strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
