Project Planner – Infrastructure Projects

About the role

ACCIONA is seeking a Planner to join the Malabar System Alliance, a ten‑year program to expand and modernise wastewater treatment across Sydney’s south and west. Reporting to the Planning Manager, you will create and maintain schedules that keep the project on track and support a sustainable infrastructure future.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Monitor progress, identify variances against the baseline, and analyse the critical path.
• Prepare regular progress reports for project and alliance leadership.
• Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to validate schedule data.
• Support risk‑mitigation planning throughout the project lifecycle.
• Contribute to look‑ahead and resourcing plans for construction phases.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in engineering or construction management.
• Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6.
• Experience planning on construction or infrastructure projects.
• Understanding of project controls and scheduling principles.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder communication skills.
