Project Officer – Implementation

About the role

CSIRO is seeking a Project Officer – Implementation to support the delivery of capital works across its national property portfolio. Working closely with project managers, contractors and internal stakeholders, you will be involved in all phases of project delivery from planning through to close‑out.

Key responsibilities

• Support planning and delivery of capital works projects to meet scope, schedule, budget and quality targets.
• Assist with procurement, contract administration, risk and financial management, and project reporting.
• Coordinate minor and low‑risk projects from inception to completion.
• Prepare project documentation, reports, presentations and governance papers for management review.
• Monitor project performance, budgets, risks and progress against milestones.
• Build and maintain productive relationships with internal stakeholders, consultants, contractors and service providers.
• Support change‑management activities and ensure accurate project records and document management.

Required profile

• Relevant industry qualification in Construction Management, Design, Project Management or a related discipline.
• Experience supporting capital works, infrastructure or construction project delivery.
• Ability to work collaboratively with project managers, contractors and diverse stakeholder groups.

What we offer

• Salary range AU$100,000 – AU$113,000 per annum plus 15.4% superannuation.
• Fixed‑term contract of 18 months, full‑time.
