Project Manager / Senior Project Manager – Education Projects

About the role

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to lead large‑scale education sector projects within its Real Estate team in Brisbane. You will act as the primary client interface, guiding projects from design through delivery while ensuring safety, quality and commercial outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain client relationships, solve problems and drive projects to successful completion.
• Manage design processes, review plans and specifications, and address construction issues.
• Oversee project safety, environmental compliance, timelines, risks and reporting.
• Control budgets, propose cost‑saving measures and keep projects on track financially.
• Directly manage project team members and provide leadership.

Required profile

• Recognised degree in Engineering, Construction Management or Project Management.
• Minimum 3 years experience on education‑related construction projects.
• Ability to thrive in a high‑pressure, fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent written and spoken English with strong report and bid writing skills.
• Strong leadership capability and team development experience.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Project, Word).
• Primavera scheduling software proficiency.
