Project Manager – SAP S/4 HANA Upgrade

About the role

The Project Manager will lead and manage the design, delivery, and adoption of a complex SAP S/4 HANA upgrade, guiding the project through fit‑gap analysis, realisation, testing, cut‑over, deployment and hyper‑care phases.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end SAP S/4 HANA upgrade activities, including fit‑gap analysis, realisation, testing, cut‑over, deployment and hyper‑care.
• Analyse, develop, design and implement comprehensive project plans aligned with Queensland Police Service and Whole of Government standards.
• Provide strategic direction, stakeholder engagement and executive‑level communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and present regular progress, financial and risk reports to senior stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure compliance with governance processes and successful delivery of outcomes.
• Guide multi‑functional teams across business, technical, data and change management streams.
• Represent the project in various forums and drive informed business decisions.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering full‑lifecycle SAP S/4 HANA upgrades and technical migrations.
• Exceptional leadership and stakeholder‑engagement skills, with the ability to influence executive sponsors.
• Strong vendor/partner management experience.
• Excellent risk management, problem‑solving and decision‑making capabilities.
