Project Manager - Digital Product Agency

About the role

A brand and digital product design agency in Sydney is looking for a Project Manager. The role is a contract that can become full-time and is open to any level of experience. You will own a range of clients and handle both project delivery and client management, together with the digital product process alongside product designers and engineers. It is a heavily client-facing position.

Key responsibilities

• Run brand, design and digital projects from brief and scheduling to closure and invoicing
• Run or take part in product ceremonies such as stand-ups, retros, showcases and stakeholder meetings
• Own customer research activities (user interviews, prototyping, surveys, card sorts) and turn them into key patterns and insights
• Work with designers to make sure user stories bring delight and ease to the problem space
• Work with engineers so designs are built on schedule and to design requirements
• Take ownership of build quality and make sure everything matches the designs
• Collaborate closely with the Managing Director on key projects
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients, the design team and external contractors
• Track scope, deliverables and client requests, plan resources weekly and run project status check-ins
• Expand knowledge across product, brand, packaging, digital and photography shoot coordination

Required profile

• Multi-tasker who can switch context between several projects and clients
• People-oriented, collaborative and an over-communicator
• Self-motivated, able to work independently, remotely and in person
• Detail-oriented but understands the big picture; curious about CX, UX and UI
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
