Project Manager – Development Projects

About the role

The Project Manager will lead the planning, coordination and delivery of development projects across Australia, focusing on purpose‑built student accommodation, worker housing and hospitality assets. You will oversee the appointed Development Manager, manage the critical path, cashflow and reporting, and ensure projects meet safety, timeline, budget and governance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Track critical‑path activities, milestones and dependencies; implement recovery plans when delays arise.
• Review budgets, cashflow forecasts and cost reports; monitor commitments, variations and final cost forecasts.
• Oversee design development, authority approvals and construction activities, ensuring compliance with operational and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare regular project dashboards and reports for senior management; maintain accurate documentation and governance records.
• Manage project completion, commissioning and handover, coordinating with Operations for readiness.

Required profile

• Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3–8 years of experience in property development, construction or project management.
• Experience in PBSA, worker accommodation, hospitality or residential developments is advantageous.

• Strong ability to monitor critical path, cashflow and overall project performance.
