Project Manager - Critical Water Infrastructure

About the role

Sodexo is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of critical water infrastructure projects across remote Pilbara operations. Based in Perth, the role covers the end-to-end execution of two major capital projects: replacement of an operational potable water network, and design, construction and commissioning of a new wastewater treatment plant serving an existing accommodation village. The position is full-time, Monday to Friday (38 hours), based at the Balcatta Support Centre with regular onsite travel.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of complex water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risk and reporting.
• Oversee engineering consultants, contractors and specialist vendors.
• Develop and execute construction and commissioning strategies in live operating environments.
• Manage site and stakeholder interfaces, including operational, maintenance and village teams.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and regulatory requirements.
• Drive contractor performance and commercial outcomes.
• Facilitate project governance, approvals and handover activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering water, wastewater, utilities or infrastructure projects.
• Experience working in remote, mining or industrial environments.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
• Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or a related discipline.
• Willingness to travel regularly to remote Pilbara sites.
