Project Manager – Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI)

About the role

Join Horizon Power as a Project Manager for Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) and lead the delivery of smart‑meter and customer transition projects across remote communities in Western Australia. You will play a key part in improving customer outcomes and shaping the future of regional energy delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute smart‑meter and retail enablement projects in remote WA locations.
• Coordinate project schedules, logistics, budgets and reporting activities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, community groups, contractors and internal stakeholders.
• Support community engagement initiatives and customer transition programmes.
• Travel to regional and remote sites to oversee project delivery and resolve issues.
• Manage project risks, contractor performance and delivery outcomes for Horizon Power retail services.

Required profile

• Experience in project coordination, delivery or a junior project‑management role.
• Proven stakeholder engagement and relationship‑management abilities.
• Excellent organisational, planning and attention‑to‑detail skills.
• Positive, adaptable and solutions‑focused mindset.
• Project‑management training or equivalent experience.
• Current WA driver’s licence.
