Project Engineer – Remedial Construction (QLD)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our growing Remedial division in Queensland. The role involves working on a diverse portfolio of structural remediation, blast and paint, and other construction projects, supporting the delivery of complex infrastructure works. You will collaborate closely with Project Managers, site teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordinating, and delivering remedial construction projects.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, schedules, and resource requirements.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to achieve project objectives.
• Support procurement and contract administration activities.
• Prepare project reports, forecasts, programmes, and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
• Identify and manage project risks, issues, and opportunities.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives and project delivery excellence.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Project Engineer or in a similar construction role.
• Strong organisational and communication abilities.
• Experience managing project documentation, cost control, and scheduling.
• Proactive problem‑solving approach and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
