Project Coordinator & Document Controller

About the role

Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced Document Controller / Project Coordinator to support the delivery of building technology and engineering projects. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, customers and vendors to ensure accurate documentation and smooth project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Manage project documentation in line with JCI and client requirements, including registration, distribution, revision control, tracking and archiving.
• Coordinate document submissions and information flow between project teams, clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Prepare handover documentation such as O&M manuals and project dossiers.
• Support project managers by tracking deliverables, milestones and documentation schedules.
• Assist with project reporting, KPI tracking and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in document control, project administration or coordination within engineering, construction or EPC environments.
• Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Ability to manage large volumes of technical documentation with high accuracy.

Required skills

• Document management systems such as Aconex, SharePoint, TeamBinder or Procore.
• Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
