Project Controls Manager (Expression of Interest)

About the role

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Project Controls Manager to lead cost control, scheduling, risk management and reporting functions for large, complex projects. You will act as the primary point of contact for project services, ensuring integration of controls processes and alignment with client objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement project controls processes and tools across the project lifecycle.
• Oversee cost management, including budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Lead scheduling activities, track milestones and ensure timelines are met.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
• Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior management.
• Collaborate with project managers, finance, procurement and other stakeholders to maintain alignment on objectives.
• Mentor and lead a team of project services professionals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, business administration or related field.
• 8‑10 years of experience in project controls or project management on large, complex projects.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
• Proven leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Primavera.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project.
• Experience using project controls software and tools.
