Program Construction Manager

About the role

Bechtel is seeking a Program Construction Manager to lead integrated construction teams on large, complex infrastructure, aviation and energy projects in Western Australia. The role involves supervising superintendents and craft professionals, ensuring work complies with project policies, schedules and budgets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of superintendents and craft professionals, providing performance management and competency development.
• Coordinate subcontractor activities, ensuring health, safety, environmental compliance and risk assessments are in place.
• Review plans and specifications for constructability and act as liaison between engineering and construction.
• Oversee contractor construction programs, ensuring they meet contract terms and deliverables.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree (or international equivalent) with 13‑15 years of relevant experience, or 17‑19 years of experience without a degree.
• Proven experience managing major infrastructure and aviation projects.
• Strong knowledge of health & safety, quality and environmental legislation.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated leadership in large organisations.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with PowerBI for data analysis and reporting.
