About the role
The University seeks an exceptional Professor of Speech Pathology to provide strategic, academic and research leadership across its North Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane campuses. This senior academic will shape the student experience, drive curriculum development and enhance the national reputation of the discipline.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the Speech Pathology discipline, influencing curriculum design, implementation and accreditation.
- Deliver outstanding research, scholarship and teaching contributions.
- Enhance student experience and support the growth of programs and staff.
- Build and maintain relationships with external organisations, professional bodies and community partners.
- Participate in university governance and collegial activities.
Required profile
- Significant experience in strategic, academic and research leadership within higher education.
- High‑level communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Strong negotiation skills and business acumen for innovative initiatives.
- Proven capability to mentor, empower and lead staff in a changing environment.

What we offer
- Total remuneration of $260,037 per annum (pro rata), including a salary component of $220,723.
- 17% employer superannuation contributions and annual leave loading of 17.5%.
