Production Supervisor

About the role

CSR is seeking a Production Supervisor to join its 24/7 manufacturing operation across Australia and New Zealand. This hands‑on leadership position supports day‑to‑day production, ensures safety and quality, and translates senior direction into actionable floor‑level tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Shift Supervisor with daily production oversight and target achievement.
• Provide direct, hands‑on leadership to up to 12 operators and labour‑hire staff.
• Troubleshoot machinery and process issues to minimise downtime.
• Monitor output, quality metrics, and consumable usage.
• Coordinate labour coverage to maintain uninterrupted production.
• Train, mentor and develop team members, embedding lean principles.
• Support WHSE initiatives and champion a “Never Walk Past” safety culture.
• Report shift performance and issues promptly and clearly.

Required profile

• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in a leading‑hand or supervisory capacity.
• Strong mechanical or technical aptitude.
• Ability to build relationships across operators, maintenance and leadership.
• Calm, organised problem‑solver with a safety‑first mindset.
• Trade or engineering background is advantageous but not essential.

Required skills

• Forklift licence (bonus).
