Production Operator - IVD Medical Products

About the role

Grifols, a global healthcare company active in plasma-derived medicines and transfusion medicine, is looking for a Production Operator to drive manufacturing excellence in Australia. The role delivers life-saving, high-quality IVD medical products to global patients through daily production planning and execution.

Key responsibilities

• Manufacture IVD products (Reagent Red Cells, Solutions and Gel Cards) following approved testing, small- and large-scale formulation and filtration processes.
• Operate purpose-built equipment to dispense and pack finished goods, and log all raw material and semi-finished product movements in SAP R3.
• Carry out in-process quality control tests and collect environmental, bioburden and serological QC samples with laboratory measuring equipment.
• Maintain strict compliance with ISO 13485, GMP and Grifols SOPs.
• Work with supervisors, engineers and senior management to optimise manufacturing processes, lead continuous improvement and align with Diagnostic Grifols global standards.

Required profile

• Background or certification in manufacturing, laboratory operations, life sciences, engineering or a related industrial discipline.
• Proven ability to work under strict safety (OH&S) and compliance (GMP/ISO 13485) frameworks in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with SAP R3 or similar systems is highly valued.
