Production Operator - Haul Truck and Multi-Skilled Operators

About the role

Thiess Mount Pleasant Operation is looking for Haul Truck and Multi-Skilled Operators with open cut experience and refined operating skills in heavy earthmoving equipment. The work involves a rotating lifestyle roster of 5/4, 4/5 and 5/5 shifts covering day, night and weekend work.

Required profile

• Proven ability to operate heavy earthmoving machinery in a mining environment
• Current RPL or competencies reflecting your skill set, to be provided at interview
• Experience operating large heavy plant
• Open cut experience

Required skills

• Operating Cat 793 haul trucks, Komatsu 930, D10/D11 dozers, 16 and 24 graders, 994 loaders and 777 water carts
• Good communication skills and willingness to be part of a high-performance team
• Commitment to the highest safety, community and environmental standards
• Initiative, flexibility and proactivity, able to work to direction and be self-motivated
