Production Manager

About the role

The Production Manager will lead a large workforce of over 100 employees at a flagship processing site operating 24/7. This role is central to maintaining a safe, high‑quality, and efficient manufacturing environment while supporting the growth of frontline leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Drive and sustain a strong safety culture across a high‑risk environment.
• Ensure product quality meets best‑practice standards and promote continuous improvement.
• Develop and mentor frontline leaders and operational staff, fostering internal career progression.
• Manage processing performance, including output targets, efficiency gains, and labour utilisation.

Required profile

• Proven production leadership experience in fast‑paced manufacturing sectors such as FMCG or packaging.
• Strong change‑management capability, especially when implementing new projects or processes.
• People‑centric leadership style with the ability to engage staff at all levels.
• Commercial acumen to support business objectives.
