Production Manager – ANZ

About the role

Netflix is seeking a Production Manager for the ANZ region to lead day‑to‑day physical production execution across its titles in Australia and New Zealand. The role operates with a high degree of autonomy, partnering directly with production companies, line producers and UPMs to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest creative and technical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee active productions from pre‑production through post‑production across ANZ.
• Serve as the primary Netflix point of contact for daily production execution.
• Track schedules, budgets and milestones in partnership with line producers and UPMs.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to budget, schedule, resourcing and technical execution.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with producers, vendors and key crew.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Content, PM, PF, BA) to translate creative intent into executable plans.
• Review budgets, cost reports and cash flows, and provide actionable recommendations on variances.

Required profile

• Extensive experience managing physical productions in film or television.
• Strong judgment and ability to make timely decisions in ambiguous or high‑pressure situations.
• Proven capability to operate independently in fast‑paced, complex environments.
• Excellent communication skills for clear stakeholder alignment.
