Production Coordinator

About the role

Alex Perry is looking for an experienced Production Coordinator to join its high‑performing team in Darlinghurst, Sydney. You will work closely with the design and production teams to turn luxury womenswear concepts into finished garments for runway, red‑carpet and high‑profile clients.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the end‑to‑end production process from product development through bulk delivery.
• Manage fabrics and trims, ensuring testing, approvals and quality standards are met.
• Liaise daily with suppliers, mills and manufacturers to track timelines and resolve issues.
• Support the Production Manager with specifications, care labels and testing certificates.
• Oversee sample tracking and approval (SMS, PPS, fit and bulk).
• Monitor the production critical path and communicate updates across the team.
• Organise freight, distribution and stock management in line with business requirements.
• Maintain accurate reports and records using Apparel Magic and Excel.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a fashion production or coordination role.
• Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proactive, solutions‑focused and high attention to detail.
• Confident liaising with suppliers and manufacturers in a fast‑paced environment.
