Production Assistant - Signage

About the role

A well-established signage business based in Auburn, Sydney, is hiring a production assistant to support the efficient delivery of large-format signage. The role is hands-on on the production floor, operating UV printers, flatbed cutters, laminators and vinyl-cutting equipment to production schedules and quality standards in a team environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate large-format UV printing, lamination and vinyl-cutting equipment
• Run flatbed cutters and assist with material preparation and finishing
• Follow production schedules to meet project timelines and quality targets
• Pack and label signage deliverables for safe handling and dispatch
• Maintain equipment and uphold workplace health and safety standards on the floor

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years' experience in signage production
• Solid understanding of signage materials, manufacturing and production processes
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines
• Reliable, team-focused and committed to quality

Required skills

• Signage design and production software
• Flatbed cutters or CNC machinery (preferred)
• Familiarity with ONYX RIP software (preferred)

What we offer

• Monday to Thursday 7am to 4pm and Friday 7am to 12pm
• Early finish Fridays and a stable Monday to Friday roster
• Salary from $33 to $38 plus superannuation
