Product Specialist - Joint Reconstruction, Brisbane

About the role

A permanent full-time Product Specialist position is available within the Joint Reconstruction Team in Queensland, based in Brisbane. You will partner with orthopaedic surgeons and theatre teams in your territory to drive adoption of Hip and Knee replacement solutions, including VELYS, a robotic technology. The role involves building clinical relationships, providing in-theatre support and delivering education and training. Applications are also welcomed from New Zealand citizens seeking to relocate to Brisbane.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales growth and market share through clinical partnerships and strategic account plans across a designated territory
• Provide expert clinical and in-theatre support to current customers
• Deliver education and training programs supporting adoption of Hip and Knee replacement solutions
• Build relationships with surgeons, theatre teams and key stakeholders and identify partnership growth opportunities
• Work with cross-functional teams to meet business objectives and maintain customer satisfaction

Required profile

• Degree qualified with proven orthopaedic sales and territory management experience, preferably in Hip and Knee Arthroplasty
• Understanding of the local orthopaedic market and a track record of building professional relationships
• Planning skills, attention to detail and strong team orientation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to influence stakeholders
• Strategic thinking and constructive challenge of customers
• Rights to work in Australia, a reliable car and a valid driver's licence; frequent travel to Brisbane metro hospitals required
