About the role
The Product Owner will lead a dedicated squad within ANZ’s Australia Retail division, delivering key outcomes for the bank’s product portfolio. This permanent, full‑time position is based in Melbourne and focuses on shaping digital interactions with customers.
Key responsibilities
- Create and maintain quarterly delivery plans and the squad’s roadmap.
- Manage dependencies, escalations and ensure the squad meets committed timelines.
- Prioritise demand, balance speed of delivery with risk, and follow relevant risk processes.
- Influence stakeholders to align work requests with squad capacity and efficiency.
- Coordinate with partner tribes and act as the primary point of contact for the area.
Required profile
- Strong commercial background with the ability to articulate impact on business outcomes.
- Leadership skills to guide teams through ambiguity and recognise results.
- Ability to build connections across tribes and align programmes with squad goals.
- Experience influencing diverse, demanding stakeholders.
