Procurement Officer

About the role

The Procurement Officer will lead the end‑to‑end management of ICT and hardware procurement requests for the business. Working closely with internal stakeholders and a dedicated team, you will ensure a seamless, professional support experience while maintaining strong customer service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review, coordinate and process ICT hardware procurement requests from submission to approval.
• Source pricing and obtain competitive quotations for laptops, desktops, mobile devices, software and related technology products.
• Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, approvals and procurement activities using internal systems and workflows.
• Document all purchasing approvals, allocations and cost recoveries to ensure full auditability.
• Manage the lifecycle of ICT assets, tracking ownership, allocation and location changes.
• Update hardware and software asset registers to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
• Respond to procurement requests, enquiries and service tickets via ServiceNow in a timely manner.

Required profile

• Strong administration and organisational abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to process compliance.
• Proven experience raising and managing purchase orders.
• Ability to handle competing priorities, urgent tasks and tight deadlines.
• Capability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
