Procurement Manager – Marine HVAC/R Spare Parts

About the role

We are looking for a highly organised Procurement Manager with marine maintenance service experience to lead the full procurement cycle for HVAC and refrigeration projects. This hybrid position combines logistics coordination, compliance management, and supplier relationship duties to ensure timely delivery of spare parts and technical equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Source and procure spare parts, HVAC/R materials, and technical equipment according to marine project specifications.
• Prepare accurate, commercially competitive quotations using HVAC/R technical knowledge.
• Support the service department with parts identification, technical clarifications, and solution proposals.
• Manage client communications regarding quotations, lead times, parts availability, and logistics.
• Coordinate internally with service technicians, project managers, and commercial teams to align procurement with service schedules.
• Handle invoicing, documentation, and payment follow‑up processes.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, marine industry standards, OEM recommendations, and trade regulations.
• Oversee domestic and international logistics, including freight forwarding, customs clearance, and deliveries.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and OEMs to negotiate pricing, improve lead times, and secure after‑sales support.
• Identify and implement cost‑saving measures and process improvements.

Required profile

• HVAC/R technician background with marine experience, progressing into procurement or service support roles.
• Strong technical understanding of HVAC and refrigeration systems in a marine environment.
• Proven experience in procurement, spare parts coordination, logistics, or technical service support.
• Ability to track purchase orders, monitor supplier performance, and report on logistics status.
• Competence in managing domestic and international freight, customs, and delivery coordination.
