Procurement Lead

About the role

Reporting to the GM of Operations and Procurement, the Procurement Lead ensures product supply, manages supplier relationships, and drives effective procurement outcomes across the business. The role oversees purchasing, demand planning, and logistics coordination while leading a small team and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage purchasing to guarantee consistent product availability.
• Build and negotiate with suppliers to achieve optimal commercial outcomes.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders – Sales & Marketing, Quality, Operations.
• Monitor demand, forecast requirements, and manage inventory levels.
• Coordinate logistics and resolve supply issues.
• Analyse performance, costs, and trends to support decision‑making.
• Lead and develop a Procurement Coordinator.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and processes.

Required profile

• 3–5+ years’ experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management abilities.
• Analytical mindset with experience in forecasting and planning.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, responsive environment.
• Leadership experience or readiness to step into a leadership role.
• Knowledge of import/export, logistics, international freight, and supply coordination (Latin American or Ecuadorian markets a plus).
• Experience managing end‑to‑end procurement processes.
