Procurement Coordinator – Sunshine Coast

About the role

Our client, an international food manufacturing business operating in Sunshine Coast, QLD and Vanuatu, is seeking an Operations Procurement Coordinator. Based on the Sunshine Coast, you will support the Vanuatu manufacturing site by managing procurement, supply chain and operational activities to ensure uninterrupted production.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day procurement of packaging, consumables, spare parts, PPE, maintenance items and services.
• Source, negotiate and maintain relationships with Australian and international suppliers.
• Coordinate freight, shipping, import and export processes, including customs documentation.
• Monitor stock levels, lead times and supply risks for critical items.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, purchasing documentation and reporting.
• Support process‑improvement initiatives and help build scalable procurement systems.
• Provide proactive communication and issue resolution across multiple stakeholders and time zones.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain or operational support.
• Hands‑on experience coordinating international freight, import/export activities and customs documentation.
• Background in manufacturing, FMCG, food production or related industrial environments.
• Strong supplier management, negotiation and stakeholder communication skills.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP or procurement systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Batchmaster or MYOB.
