Procurement and Supply Chain Lead

About the role

This senior leadership position oversees the end‑to‑end supply function for a fast‑moving fresh‑food business. You will shape the supply roadmap, drive supplier negotiations, and ensure operational excellence across procurement, planning, ERP governance and 3PL performance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop a small, high‑performing team.
• Lead sourcing, procurement, supplier negotiations and contract management.
• Drive cost optimisation, supplier performance and strategic sourcing initiatives.
• Oversee demand forecasting, supply planning and inventory optimisation for 500+ SKUs.
• Own ERP supply configuration, master‑data governance and MRP processes.
• Deliver supply analytics and reporting to support business decisions.
• Manage 3PL relationships, logistics performance and SLA compliance.
• Improve DIFOT performance, freight optimisation and continuous improvement projects.
• Partner with Commercial, Culinary, Operations, Technology and Finance teams to support product launches, promotions and margin objectives.

Required profile

• Commercially sharp, highly autonomous and execution‑focused.
• Proven sourcing and supplier‑management experience with measurable COGS improvements.
• Strong supply‑planning expertise in fast‑paced, demand‑driven environments.
• Demonstrated leadership experience building capability in a small team.
• Experience managing 3PL partnerships and driving service performance.
• Strategic thinker who remains hands‑on in day‑to‑day operations.
• Background in fresh food, meal‑kits or other short‑shelf‑life categories is highly regarded.
