Processing Plant Trainer

About the role

Ora Banda Mining is seeking a dedicated Trainer to deliver safe and effective training for new and existing personnel operating its gold processing plant. This role supports the company’s ambitious growth plan by ensuring staff are competent in all aspects of plant operation.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver induction and ongoing training for plant operators, maintenance crews, and contractors.
• Develop, review, and maintain training packages, records, and documentation.
• Assist in creating and presenting toolbox talks and safe work procedures.
• Coordinate with third‑party training providers and manage training contractors.
• Maintain a training database and ensure compliance with the mine safety management system.

Required profile

• Minimum two years experience as a Process Plant Trainer, preferably in gold processing.
• Hands‑on experience as a competent process operator across all stages of gold processing.
• Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent.
• Valid C Class manual driver’s licence.
• Strong computer literacy and ability to use training management software.
