Process Worker - Blow Moulding

About the role

Bega Group's Chelsea Heights site in Melbourne's south-east manufactures more than 44 milk, milk-based beverages and cream products, producing around 100 million litres per year. The Process Worker operates and monitors blow moulding equipment. The role is Monday to Friday, 5 am to 1 pm, and part-time and job-share arrangements are available.

Key responsibilities

• Operate, monitor and troubleshoot blow moulding equipment to meet safety, quality and production targets
• Ensure finished products meet quality, food safety and customer standards
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities that boost productivity, reduce waste and improve team outcomes
• Work with colleagues and leaders to solve problems, share knowledge and support operational priorities
• Record production data, downtime, quality checks and material usage accurately

Required profile

• Strong commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement
• Clear communication and constructive teamwork
• Positive attitude, attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Ability to stay organised, adaptable and focused in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to learn how to operate and troubleshoot blow-moulding equipment
• Pre-employment medical and a current Australian driver's licence required

Required skills

• Experience in manufacturing or blow moulding is useful but not essential; training in equipment, processes and safety is provided
