Principal Process Engineer

About the role

Join Engeny’s Integrated Water Planning team in Melbourne as a Principal Process Engineer. You will lead technical delivery of water and wastewater treatment projects, providing strategic planning, design, and client advisory services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and provide technical direction on complex water, wastewater and recycled water projects from strategic planning through to functional design.
• Supervise and coordinate project teams to meet objectives and client expectations.
• Prepare proposals and build strong client relationships as a trusted advisor.
• Facilitate client and stakeholder workshops and mentor junior staff.

Required profile

• 10+ years of consultancy experience in water treatment and wastewater projects.
• Tertiary degree in Chemical Engineering.
• Chartered status (CPEng, RPEQ/V) highly desired.
• Established profile within industry associations and strong communication skills.

Required skills

• Water treatment and wastewater treatment expertise.
• Chemical engineering design principles.
• Master planning, options assessment and feasibility study development.
• Business case preparation and strategic planning.
