Principal Civil Engineer – Water Infrastructure

About the role

KBR is expanding its Water team in Melbourne and is looking for a Principal Civil Engineer with extensive experience in municipal water pipelines, sewer design, trunk mains and water reticulation systems. You will be a key member of a joint venture delivering complex infrastructure projects for Melbourne Water and South East Water.

Key responsibilities

• Lead detailed design of major water pipeline projects (250 mm–1000 mm) and associated sewer, trunk main and pump station works.
• Manage project scope, budget and programme while interacting directly with water authority clients.
• Mentor junior engineers and guide multidisciplinary design and planning teams.

Required profile

• Chartered Engineer (CEng) with a proven record of delivering complex water infrastructure designs.
• Experience in a consulting environment, working with water utilities and managing projects through the full design lifecycle.
