Principal – Catholic Boarding & Day College

About the role

The Board of St Ursula’s College is seeking an exceptional Catholic educational leader to assume the Principal position from January 2027. This role will guide a respected independent Catholic boarding and day college for girls (Years 7‑12) with 700 students, building on a strong heritage of faith, compassion and academic excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic vision and leadership for the College, aligning with the Presentation charism and Catholic educational mission.
• Oversee curriculum development, teaching quality, and student outcomes across boarding and day programmes.
• Lead and inspire a highly capable staff, fostering professional growth and a collaborative culture.
• Manage enrolment demand, community relationships, and stakeholder engagement, including the Board and parents.
• Drive innovation, continuous improvement and sustainable development within the College.

Required profile

• Committed, practising Catholic with deep understanding of the Catholic tradition.
• Post‑graduate qualifications in Education, Leadership, Religious Education, Theology or related fields.
• Current teacher registration in Queensland or eligibility for registration.
• Demonstrated substantive senior leadership experience in Catholic schooling.
• Eligibility to work in Australia.
