About the role

St Mary's Memorial School, a Catholic primary school in Glenelg, is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Primary Teacher for a 1.0 FTE permanent position. The successful applicant will contribute to high-quality learning, nurture student wellbeing and support a collaborative, child-centred environment, working closely with colleagues and families.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality learning programs aligned to the Australian Curriculum and CESA expectations
• Create a safe, inclusive and positive classroom environment that supports student wellbeing
• Use assessment and data to differentiate learning and monitor student progress
• Build respectful, professional relationships with students, families and colleagues
• Contribute to collaborative planning, professional learning and whole-school initiatives
• Uphold child-safe practices and model the school's values

Required profile

• An engaging, reflective educator with a passion for primary teaching
• Strong pedagogical knowledge and the ability to differentiate for diverse learners
• Effective communication and relationship building with students, families and staff
• Initiative, flexibility and a collaborative approach in a small, supportive team
• Professional integrity and adherence to child-safe practices
• Current registration with the Teachers Registration Board of South Australia and relevant Working With Children clearances
