About the role

Catholic Education Northern Territory is seeking enthusiastic Primary Teachers to join its network of 18 schools across the Northern Territory. The role involves delivering high‑quality primary education and supporting the academic, social and emotional development of students in Darwin, Palmerston, Alice Springs or remote communities.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective teaching aligned with curriculum requirements.

• Support the wellbeing and holistic development of students.
• Demonstrate strong classroom management and effective communication.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and the wider school community.
• Contribute positively to the Catholic identity and mission of the school.

Required profile

• Hold a recognised teaching qualification in Primary Education.
• Be eligible for Teacher Registration with the NT Teacher Registration Board.
• Hold or be eligible to obtain a Working with Children Clearance (Ochre Card).
• Demonstrate strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Commit to inclusive teaching and differentiated learning.
• Thrive in collaborative and supportive school environments.
