Primary Teacher – Full-time/Part-time

About the role

Falcon Primary School is building a pool of primary teachers for permanent and fixed‑term positions, both full‑time and part‑time, commencing during the 2026 school year through Term 2 2027. Located near Avalon Beach, the school serves around 550 students in a vibrant, inclusive community that values respect, responsibility, resilience and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, teach and assess using a data‑driven, explicit teaching model.
• Create a caring, engaging and differentiated classroom that meets the needs of a diverse student body.
• Implement evidence‑based programmes such as Talk for Writing, Spelling Mastery, DIBELS, Engagement Norms and Daily Review.
• Collaborate with colleagues in instructional coaching cycles to refine practice and improve outcomes.
• Support students’ social and emotional development and maintain strong communication with parents.

Required profile

• Proven success using explicit teaching and data‑informed decision‑making.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build genuine relationships with students, families and staff.
• Commitment to best practice and continuous improvement within a whole‑school connected environment.
