About the role

Challis Community Primary School is building a pool of enthusiastic Primary Teachers for permanent and fixed‑term positions that may start any time during the 2026 school year through Term 2, 2027. The role involves creating an inclusive, high‑expectation classroom where students thrive academically, socially and emotionally.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the school’s core programmes: Reading Mastery, Spelling Mastery and PR1ME Maths.
• Teach students to read and behave, fostering effective communication, cooperation and emotional expression.
• Collaborate within Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) and engage in coaching and wellbeing support.
• Build strong relationships with parents, students and colleagues.
• Contribute to the school’s continuous improvement journey toward exceeding state results.
