About the role
The school is seeking a qualified teacher to implement and manage learning programmes for primary students. This is a full‑time, fixed‑term position running from 27 July 2026 to 21 December 2026, with a workload of 70 hours per fortnight.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, deliver and assess curriculum aligned with Tasmanian education standards.
- Monitor and report individual student progress.
- Maintain regular communication with parents and caregivers.
- Uphold child‑safe policies and contribute to a positive school community.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development and school events.
Required profile
- Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Employment status).
- Full teacher registration under the Teachers Registration Act 2000, or provisional/limited authority as permitted.
- Registration with the Teachers Registration Board (Tasmania).
- Employment under the Teaching Service (Tasmanian Public Sector) Award.
- Four years or more of teacher training is desirable.
