Preschool Teacher – Full‑time & Part‑time Positions

About the role

Trinity College is seeking engaging preschool teachers to join its three early learning sites in Roseworthy, Gawler River and Evanston. The role offers both a full‑time (1.0 FTE) parental‑leave position and a part‑time (0.4 FTE) contract, with the possibility of increased hours.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high‑quality early childhood programmes aligned with the NQF and EYLF.
• Collaborate with the preschool director, Director of Early Learning and fellow teachers to maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment.
• Implement trauma‑informed practices and contemporary pedagogical approaches.
• Monitor and assess children’s progress, adapting activities to support individual needs.

Required profile

• Degree qualified in Early Childhood Education (minimum).
• Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, aligned with Trinity College values.
• Commitment to child safety policies and the Child Safety Code of Conduct.

Required skills

• Working with Children Check (current).
• RRAHN‑EC Masterclass certification.
• Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma training (on‑site training available).
