Practice Manager - Greencross Vets Wetherill Park

About the role

A busy, established small animal clinic in Wetherill Park, Sydney, is looking for an experienced Practice Manager. It is a full-time, hands-on leadership position suited to a Veterinary Nurse who wants to balance people leadership, clinic operations, nursing duties and client care. The role includes regular veterinary nursing and reception shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop clinic team members
• Create a culture of accountability, collaboration and respect
• Support recruitment, onboarding, rostering and team development
• Work closely with the Veterinary Director to achieve clinic goals
• Monitor clinic performance and identify improvements
• Oversee day-to-day clinic operations and administration
• Drive workflow efficiencies and operational excellence
• Support exceptional client experiences and patient care standards
• Encourage engagement, recognition and team wellbeing initiatives

Required profile

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent)
• Previous experience as Practice Manager, Head Nurse, Senior Veterinary Nurse or similar leadership role
• Confident supporting reception, nursing and operational functions
• Strong leadership, people development, communication and business management skills
• Proactive, solutions-focused and adaptable
