About the role

The Reece Group, which supplies plumbing and bathroom products to plumbers and retail customers, is offering a school-based traineeship at its Plumbing West Ryde branch, partnered with Murray Mallee Training Company Ltd. Year 10 students work towards a Certificate II in Supply Chain Operations, combining work in the branch with certificate requirements such as workbooks, on-the-job training and assessments. The position is based at Plumbing West Ryde.

Key responsibilities

• Follow Reece's values, policies and procedures
• Provide customer service
• Complete all requirements of the certificate
• Process sales
• Manage stock
• Answer the phone to take messages and orders
• Communicate with customers and staff
• Build product knowledge
• Follow up with customers
• Help keep the branch at a high standard
