Planner / Scheduler – Data Centre Projects (US relocation)

About the role

A leading global real‑estate consultancy is looking for an experienced Planner/Scheduler to drive the delivery of hyperscale data‑centre projects for a major technology client across the United States. The position offers full visa sponsorship and relocation support for candidates moving from Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules for large‑scale data‑centre builds.
• Coordinate planning activities across design, engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning teams.
• Track progress, update schedules, analyse critical paths and forecast delivery timelines.
• Identify risks and delays, propose mitigation actions and ensure programme performance.
• Review contractor schedules for alignment with project objectives.
• Prepare schedule reports, dashboards and performance metrics for internal and client‑facing stakeholders.
• Maintain planning governance, documentation and change‑control procedures.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of experience as a Planner, Scheduler or Project Controls professional on complex construction or infrastructure projects.
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Controls, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• Willingness and ability to relocate to the United States with visa sponsorship provided.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency with Primavera P6.
